This Tama-made S.L.P. Dynamic Bronze snare drum sounds as awesome as it looks. Sporting an 'aged' Antique Bronze finish, the shell measures 14" by 4.5" for loud, direct and dynamically rich sound. Since the shell is a little on the shallow side, the snare is a tad more sensitive overall, and all-round enough to play styles like fusion, prog-metal, jazz or any other style you can think of.

There wouldn't be any point to the Tama Sound Lab Project (SLP) if it didn't do as promised: experiment with materials and develop fresh sound. Fortunately, Tama's project delivers and here, has resulted in a stunning, Antique Bronze aged-finish design. The shell walls are 1.2mm thick and come mounted with black nickel-plated hardware including Tama Die-Cast hoops and Starclassic Hi-Carbon Steel Snare Wires.
